Kim Kardashian, the Reality TV star announced her engagement to Kris Humphries yesterday,(25th May 2011) and was proposed to with a 20.5 carat diamond Ring from a swanky jeweller's.
The giant gem is said to be worth almost half as much as Kim's Beverly Hills mansion and is valued at a cool $2 million.
So we can understand why Kim's huge rock made such an impression on all her family and friends and in particular her younger sister, Khloe, who joked it made her own ring from husband Lamar Odom look tiny.

But it seems that's not ALL Kim wanted from her engagement, as apparently she's preparing for their nuptials to be even bigger than the royal wedding.
A source close to the star revealed she wants her big day to be more extravagant and spectacular than when Prince William married Kate Middleton and is planning the wedding of the century.
Kim is said to see herself as a bigger celebrity than Kate too and, with their nuptials being shown on one of her reality TV shows, thinks it'll be more popular than Wills and Kate's.
