concluded BBA winner, Karen, has been pencilled
down to star in Omo Ghetto part 2, Funke
Akindele's block busting film. This hint was first
revealed by Eniola Badmus, the big sized and
busty Yoruba actress, who also featured in Omo
Ghetto part 1.
When contacted about the authenticity of this
development, Eniola simply replied "yes". Karen, through her 91 days in the Big Brother house in South Africa, only gained the support of the Nigerians and fans of the Africa's biggest reality show. A lot of controversies trailed the Jos born, and now most recent African celebrity.
One of such controversies that painted her bad was the breast plastic surgery operation she underwent some years back before coming for the BBA competition. Though not disturbed by that, Karen went ahead to prove those that never gave her a chance, by winning the Mnet show's $200,000 prize. Faced with her nude pictures fighting for space in the papers and the internet, one would have thought that she would have easily given up and be distracted by the bad publicities she was getting back at home.
Caught in the bug of the Nigerian flag raiser at
the BBA was the publisher of Ovation, Chief Dele
Momodu. The Edo State born media guru wrote
an article on This Day newspaper of July 30, 2011 titled "The Karenitication of Africa". In the said article, the Ovation man praised the way Karen explored your next door village or street girl life to win the hearts and admirations of the huge fans of the reality TV show. The article explained how Africa and Africans can take a cue and learn from the spirit of Karenism to tackle the multiple and diverse problems the 53 nation continent is facing.
In a follow up to the article, the former presidential aspirant in the last general elections
was asked the reason behind writing the article
and canvassing for votes for Karen, the Editor in
Chief of Ovation replied, 'I write about current
events, and most people around me have the BBA bug.
Getting in touch with the producer of the much
publicized "Omo Ghetto part 2″, Funke Akindele,
to know if truly Karen will act in the new flick. The screen idol and producer of the about to be
released soon 'Return of Jenifa movie did not
hesitate in confirming it and giving another
revelation that the film would be released by
August this year.
Karen has since returned to the country and was
given a huge reception at the Murtala
International Airport in Lagos when she landed in Nigeria. We are expecting to see Karen act the
real Omo Ghetto in her when Omo Ghetto part 2
is release.
